In the report Hogeschool van kennis (Higher Professional University of knowledge) the Education Council indicates that it does not consider that Lectors and knowledge networks should restrict themselves solely to research. Based on the start situation outlined above, we also prefer to denote the core activities of the Sports Management Lectorate as 'design and development'. Three forms of knowledge creation are clustered in this: development of knowledge, exchange of knowledge and transfer of knowledge.
